The Young Marines is a national organization for boys and girls ages 8-completion of high school.  The applicants are required to complete recruit training (which takes place on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8:30pm at the Scottish Rite Center,  514 14th St W,  Billings, over the course of 10-12 weeks.  Our next Recruit Class will begin in September of 2018.

We will have a MANDATORY informational meeting on Tuesday, August 7, at 6pm, at the Scottish Rite Center, 514 14th St W.

The cost of enrollment in the program is $250. This covers annual registration,  training supplies, uniform and boots.  Application packets are available on the website( in the unit library. This must be filled out in full, prior to the start of Recruit Training.  A copy of your child's birth certificate,  social security card,  medical card, and current sports physical are also required.

While we use Marine Corps values and techniques to teach the core values of Discipline,  Leadership and Teamwork,  we are not a recruiting program or a paramilitary organization. We're not a scared straight program. We give good kids the tools to be great kids.

I hope this answers some of your questions,  and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
